Thanks Will. Kris and Al sent me some great material to work with. Still cutting and tumbling a lot of it - two barrels are running now that have to be checked ... we got a bit busy over the holidays and they've been sitting in the polish stage for about two months now. Will post photos if they turn out nice.

Thanks for posting the cool slab pics, Paul. It's easy to see why the DC O'sidian is an obsession with me n' Al! I'm in agreement with you on this forum format. The Ning site has great advantages, like very simple photo posting and messaging, but ProBoards offers a better all around quick communication experience. The two services together will give our less computer savvy members a great experience. Thanks again! Kris

There are times when I wish we lived in a more central location in CA. Living in SoCal, while nice, precludes field trips to great places like the Davis Creek site up north. I never quite figured out the original site but that was more me than anything else (LOL).

Paul, The directions and details on the Davis Creek mining sites have always been pretty vague. My own Blogposts, trip maps and other details may have made the situation a little better, but there's still tons of room for improvement. Look for a full tilt online article, with Map links and details and all the bells and whistles, at Hand-2-Mouth Mining. Links will be posted here on the forums.
More, soon!
Kris
